3. Butterfly Garden of Remembrance – NEVADA CITY
The Butterfly Garden of Remembrance offers a peaceful space to honor loved ones and reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day. Surrounded by beauty and symbolism, visitors can experience a heartfelt tribute filled with remembrance, hope, and community connection in a serene garden setting.
Hosted by Friends of Hospice & Foothills Compassionate Care, the community is invited to visit over 600 butterfly stakes, placed in the garden with messages affixed, as a way to reflect upon and honor loved ones. You are able to write the name of a loved one and a message of remembrance on one of our prepared cards. Each card will be attached to a butterfly and placed on a garden stake in our colorful butterfly garden.
