ICON Signature Series: Ed Corominas

At Nick Sadek Sotheby’s International Realty, we are proud to work alongside professionals whose careers reflect integrity, depth of experience, and a true commitment to clients — and Ed Corominas is a perfect example of that standard. With more than 35 years in real estate and a career that began in his early 20s, starting in the Bay Area where he was raised and navigated his way up to the greater Sacramento area for the majority of his professional career. Ed brings a level of knowledge and perspective that can only be built through decades of hands-on experience. Since becoming licensed in 1990, he has helped thousands of clients buy, sell, invest in, and build homes, guiding them through every type of market cycle with confidence and care. He has resided in various areas of the greater Sacramento area starting in 1993, first moving in to the American River Canyon North neighborhood in Folsom, Los Cerros in Folsom, Los Lagos in Granite Bay, Rocklin, North Natomas along with now residing in the Arden/Carmichael Area.

Ed chose to align with Nick Sadek Sotheby’s International Realty because of the brand’s reputation for professionalism, white-glove service, and elevated client experience — values that mirror how he has built his career. Known for providing thoughtful, informed guidance, Ed approaches real estate not as a sales profession, but as a service-driven role centered on trust, education, and long-term relationships. His clients rely on him not only during a transaction, but well beyond the closing table, often returning to him for future guidance and referring family and friends with confidence.

Real estate has been the foundation of Ed’s entire professional life. His experience spans residential sales, custom residential lot/land sales, investment properties, Active adult communities, new home sales for developers, building of spec homes, interior and home design, along with marketing for residential properties. All of this experience gives him a comprehensive understanding of how homes are purchased, marketed, built, valued, and lived in. That depth of knowledge allows him to guide clients through complex decisions with clarity, whether they are first-time buyers, builders, luxury-home buyers, seasoned investors, or any home seller navigating a home sale in all market conditions. In an industry where no two transactions are the same, Ed’s ability to adapt while maintaining a high standard of professionalism sets him apart.

Outside of real estate, Ed believes strongly in enjoying life and maintaining balance. He has a deep appreciation for travel, culture, architecture, and design. Traveling to Europe, Asia and South America has provided an appreciation for cultures, architecture and food. He enjoys remodeling and designing homes, flipping homes when the market is right, eating great food and spending quality time with family, friends and his dog Crockett. Besides his home in the Sacramento area he enjoys spending time (when time allows) at his home in Rancho Mirage, where the desert landscape and surrounding mountains offer a place to recharge. These personal interests naturally influence his eye for homes, architecture, and thoughtful design, adding another layer to how he connects with properties and clients alike. He loves homes, design and real estate.

Ed is known for building lasting relationships by serving as a true real estate advisor. His approach is rooted in knowledge, transparency, and respect for the trust his clients place in him. He understands that buying or selling real estate is one of the largest financial decisions most people will ever make, and he takes that responsibility seriously. His white-glove approach is reflected in the way he educates clients, sets clear expectations, and guides them through each step of the process with professionalism and care.

One of the many stories that reflects Ed’s impact involves a young family he helped in the late 1990s while selling new homes in Elk Grove. The couple was living frugally and had little understanding of the homebuying process. Through education, creative financing, and builder incentives, Ed helped them purchase their first home with a down payment and monthly payment that were more affordable than renting. That home, purchased for approximately $125,000, would be worth more than $500,000 today — serving not only as a place to raise their family, but as a long-term investment that shaped their financial future. He has also stood beside countless clients during challenging periods, including the market downturn around 2010, helping them navigate financial hardship with honesty, empathy, and expertise. He has also helped clients find, design and flip properties along with creating their dream homes.

When asked to describe his approach to working with clients, three words consistently come to mind: educator, trust, and knowledge. Ed believes every client and every transaction is different, and his role is to guide clients based on their individual goals, needs, and long-term vision. Great communication is key to help guide his clients through the process when purchasing and selling real estate. While he appreciates well-kept neighborhoods, well designed homes with strong architectural style personally, his focus always remains on what matters most to the client and what will serve them best both emotionally and financially. He finds the best property for his clients’ budgets and interests within the neighborhoods that they desire.

Ed emphasizes that real estate is a long-term investment influenced by timing, the economy, and market conditions. He helps buyers understand the value of patience and perspective, and he works closely with sellers to set realistic expectations in today’s evolving market, where affordability, marketing, pricing strategy, and negotiation play a critical role. His guidance is always grounded in education, knowledge and market awareness.

Beyond real estate sales, Ed’s passion for real estate extends into architecture, design, and a personal real estate investment portfolio. He has invested in real estate with owning a number of rental properties acquired over the years and has designed, built, and remodeled homes. He maintains a strong appreciation for timeless design, functionality, and thoughtful use of space. If given the opportunity to design a dream home, Ed gravitates toward classic, enduring design that balances comfort and formality, with an emphasis on a great kitchen, a primary bedroom and bath that is like a sanctuary, amazing entertaining areas for indoor and outdoor living along with smart storage for practicality .

Ed stays ahead of market trends by reviewing the MLS daily across the Greater Sacramento region, monitoring inventory, pricing, and sales activity. He keeps a close eye on economic conditions that influence housing locally and nationally. Every real estate market is different

along with various neighborhoods and communities, so being familiar helps him stay on top of the market. This diligence ensures that his clients receive informed, current advice no matter where they are in their real estate journey.

We are proud to have Ed Corominas as part of Nick Sadek Sotheby’s International Realty. His experience, professionalism, and client-first mindset reflect the standard we strive to uphold, and his presence continues to elevate the level of service we provide to our clients and our community.
